Psalms, 12

1. Unto the end. A Psalm of David. How long, O Lord? Will you forget me until the end? How long will you turn your face away from me?

2. How long can I take counsel in my soul, sorrowing in my heart throughout the day?

3. How long will my enemy be exalted over me?

4. Look upon me and listen to me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes, lest I fall asleep forever in death,

5. lest at any time my enemy may say, “I have prevailed against him.” Those who trouble me will exult, if I have been disturbed.

6. But I have hoped in your mercy. My heart will exult in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, who assigns good things to me. And I will sing psalms to the name of the Lord Most High.

Psalm 12 deals with the lack of faithfulness and honesty among people, calling for God's intervention and the salvation of the righteous. Psalm 119:140: "Your commandments are truly righteous; you are faithful and straight." This verse highlights the just and faithful character of God, reminding us that He will always be the perfect guide in our lives.

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be terrified, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will hold you with my right right hand." This verse reminds us that despite the difficulties and challenges we face in life, God is always with us and will strengthen us to face them.

Romans 12:21: "Don't be overcome by evil, but won evil with good." This verse encourages us to remain faithful to God and to resist the temptation to give in to evil. We must overcome evil with goodness and remain firm in our faith, even in difficult times.
