Genesis 1 is the first chapter of the Bible and deals with the creation of the world for God. He describes how God created the universe, the earth, the heavens, the light, the waters, the vegetation, the sun, the moon, the stars, the animals, and the man. Psalm 8:3-4: "When you contemplate your heavens, work of your fingers, the moon and the stars you established, which is man, why do you remember Him? And the Son of man, to visit him?" This psalm highlights the work of God's creation, including the moon and the stars mentioned in Genesis 1, and questions the role of man in the universe.

Isaiah 45:12: "I made the earth, and created the man in it; I did it; my hands extended the heavens, and all his army I gave my orders." This verse reaffirms the creation of earth and man for God, as described in Genesis 1.
